Be Part of Our Community
Volunteer Experience
The community center serves as a true spiritual formation tool for volunteers. Learning to love our neighbors, and be loved by our neighbors, is hard work, especially crossing barriers of race, socioeconomic status, different faith traditions, and worldviews. Being invited to the table at the community center has expanded our understanding of the image of God, and we want our volunteers to experience this.
Summer Program Volunteers
Individuals make a weekly commitment (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) for 8 weeks to hang out with the kids, play games, lead activities, participate in Bible lessons, and build friendships.
Summer Community Dinner Sponsors
A great one-time serving event for church groups, coworkers, small groups, or friends to host a community cookout during the summer by bringing and serving dinner.
Woodfield Club
Individuals make a weekly commitment to hang out with the kids during the school year on Thursdays.
